For nearly a decade Vanessa Kelly has been committed to food, and not just eating it. Her drive, passion and determination for elevating Caribbean cuisine has been a long journey. Her experience spans over 20 years in the catering sector but her most recent accomplishments have seen exponential growth in her businesses. As managing Director of 2 Much Passion CIC, Vanessa has redefined community cooking, launching a mobile cooking school and providing food solutions for community groups and organisations. Being the only black led cooking school in the Midlands if not the UK her “2 Much Passion” mentality has seen her work expand, she operates a 20ft state of the art mobile commercial kitchen “Foodtainer” and now more recently the launch of The Guild of Caribbean Cuisine. The Guild will support Caribbean food businesses to reach their full potential, creating a voice to be heard for recognition and elevation of our cuisine into the mainstream catering industry.
