eBay, B Lab, Business Growth West Midlands and more join the lineup to boost Black enterprise at Birmingham Black Business Show 2023.

By popular demand, Birmingham Black Business Show has announced two special features, the return of both the Careers Zone and the Business Advice Hub to its 2023 edition taking place on Saturday the 17th of June at the Birmingham NEC.

eBay, B Lab and Business Growth West Midlands have been announced as sponsors, promoting personal and business growth opportunities across the West Midlands. They will join HSBC, UK, Lloyds Bank, Deutsche Bank, Be the Business and Trowers & Hamlins to inspire an attendance of over 3,000 visitors. 

Michael Adeniya, Chief Operating Officer of UK Black Business Show commented on the announcement, ‘”Cultivating a supportive community of Black entrepreneurs and professionals is at the heart of our mission at UK Black Business Show. The Careers Zone will feature a diverse group of advisors who will be available throughout the day to offer one-on-one advice and support. Each advisor will be available for two-hour time slots to offer their expertise on a range of career-related issues, such as CV guidance, career switching, personal development, and more.

The following advisors are confirmed to participate in the Careers Zone; ex-BBC Apprentice contestant and Director of executive search firm Scarlett Allen Horton, Dan Hoff Rodrigues, Director of CX2 Talent Solutions, Joseph Bailey, Senior Recruiter at HSBC, Denise Myers, Founder of Evenfields Careers and the Black Talent Awards, along with representatives from Deutsche Bank, Trowers & Hamlins.

The Business Advice Hub, powered by Business Growth West Midlands, will give visitors the opportunity to meet industry experts and get free advice on business objectives. From those just starting out to those trying to scale, the business advisors will be able to provide crucial guidance on expansion, funding, budgeting, sustainability, strategy and much more.

Renowned growth experts including Daniella Genas Director of Be The Boss International, Ashley Bancroft, Partner at H&Hendricks will be accepting appointments and drop in visits at the Business Advice Hub, providing free advice that would normally cost 1000s.
