The first-of-its-kind show will connect the Black business community and allies for a whole day of workshops, investor pitches, exhibitions, roundtables and talks. Endorsed by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Maureen Cornish, the show will provide much needed support for Black enterprise across the region.
Launched by the organisers of the UK’s biggest Black Business Show, Birmingham Black Business Show is set to welcome over 1,500 attendees and 50 exhibitors to the NEC Birmingham on this Saturday 18th June.
Major sponsors, including HSBC UK, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, Lloyds and Accenture are supporting the show to create better access to funding and support for business owners and promote career opportunities to aspiring professionals.
Speakers on the day include Sunday Times bestseller, BAFTA and MOBO award-winning musician and political commentator, Akala, broadcaster and singer songwriter, Jamelia, the new Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Maureen Cornish, multi-award-winning entrepreneur and business coach Justice Williams MBE and international recognised medtech entrepreneur Martin Levermore MBE.

Large exhibition hall. At the heart of the show will be and exhibitor marketplace showcasing Black-owned businesses, recruiting employers from a range of sectors, universities and organisations offering various forms of business support.
Two stages packed with impactful talks. Career and entrepreneurship development sessions, business showcases, practical workshops on international trade, sustainability and achieving your potential.
121 meetings with growth experts. Entrepreneurs can get guidance with business experts from HSBC UK, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, Lloyds Bank, Aston University, Greater Birmingham & Solihull LEP and others.
Lunch & Learn Roundtables. Frank, open discussions on a range of themes including managing your mental health, Black women in leadership, pitching to investors and improving sales.
