Member of Parliament for Birmingham Erdington.

Paulette Hamilton was elected as the Member of Parliament for Birmingham Erdington in 2022. She has lived in Erdington for over 35 years where her children were born and raised and describes herself as a “proud Brummie born and bred”.

Paulette trained as a nurse and worked at the local Health centre at Warren Farm Road in Kingstanding for several years. Paulette served as a district nurse for 25 years and re-joined the frontline to help the vaccine rollout.

Prior to her election she was the councillor for Holyhead ward in the neighbouring parliamentary seat of Birmingham Perry Barr, she was also the Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care on Birmingham City Council.
