Founder and CEO of Agency Connection

Adefunke founded Agency Connection to help adoption and fostering services find groups of people from diverse backgrounds and communities with the necessary skills, experiences and motivation, to scrutinise the work of the agencies, to help ensure that fostered or adopted children are placed with safe, suitable families to meet their needs (the group is called the panel). She’s committed to addressing ethnic diversity in adoption and fostering panels, because she believes that every child’s voice needs to be represented and amplified in that space.

She is committed to advocating for vulnerable children and ensuring that their voices are heard and represented at the highest level. She has worked on various projects, including leading parts of the national adoption campaign “You Can Adopt”, supporting the recruitment of potential black adopters across England, and providing faith and cultural literacy training for professionals.
Adefunke aspires to advocate, amplify and accelerate the voice of vulnerable black children.
