The soon to be CIC provides holistic wellbeing via individual and group yoga sessions, community walks in local parks and time spent at a local allotment.

SilkeBee Skincare was born out of a desire to soothe my daughter’s dry skin and eczema. Our roots can be traced back to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe where my grandmother used natural ingredients from her and my grandfather’s farm to make skincare. We take pride in not using any parabens, emulsifiers & synthetically enhanced chemicals.

We believe that by continuing to educate the public on natural alternatives, we can help to service a sector that will love & appreciate natural and environmentally friendly skincare.  Our range of skincare is safe for the whole family, from Bump, Baby and Beyond.

Campbell & Alleyne were established in 2021 by two qualified Social Workers with an initial aim to support black males to: journal, goal set and reflect.

This was due to the increasing rise in black male suicides and the lack of mental health and wellness support in the community. We came up with the idea of MANifest: your story a guided tool to Support, Inspire and Affirm.

We have adapted the product to suit students, professionals and others. With high quality printing, inclusive fonts and full colour pictures.

Campbell and Alleyne aim to provide quality Manifest and Aspirational tools.

Akra Designs has been established since the year 2006. They specialise in authentic handmade products for home and Fashion accessories. Akra are a retail and wholesale business based in the UK.  They have supported and encouraged creative designers in Ghana for the past 15 years.

The idea came about whilst The Owner, Eva was in Ghana. Being Ghanaian she felt that this was an opportunity to help support Ghanaians and make their work available to a wider audience who would appreciate the creativity and authenticity of their designs. Akra’s mission is to create a social purpose enterprise that creates positive impact in local Ghanaian communities.

During childhood it was difficult to find representation in everyday items. When it came to cards, my family had a very small selection of black greeting cards to choose from.

In 2018 I started Aziza Illustrates to fill the gap, producing products featuring black people. Every card is a piece of artwork designed to reflect the warmth of our community.

Aziza Illustrates has also collaborated with other businesses, creating patterns, illustrations, logos and much more!

The name Aziza means cherished, precious and beloved. I hope you will feel this way when you give or receive an item from Aziza Illustrates.

My name is Denise Glover the founder and owner of Firecracker Art by Denise based in Chesterfield Derbyshire. I’m a self-taught visual artist that   paints and decorates   products using my art.  I get my inspiration from my love of travel and my African heritage.

My artwork tends to be bold and bright. My business was established in 2017 as way of relaxing from my busy job as GP.   I paint using mainly acrylic and watercolour   mediums and then transfer the artwork on items such as   lampshades, mugs, coasters and greeting cards.  I hope to see you at my stand.

LA Edwards’ debut novel Halo Hattie, is for children aged 7+.  It’s an fantasy comedy adventure set within the Galaxy Garden awash with culturally diverse talking animals whose existence depends on the magical Halo. Central to the novel’s plot, are courageous black characters facing several moral dilemmas.

With over 20 years+ experience working with children, this fast rising author sold out at last year’s book launch, read excerpts of her novel at Cocoa Fest and Black Book Festival. She undertakes author visits to schools and libraries.

Now stocked in independent bookshops and featuring in major media outlets, fans are demanding a sequel.

Jk Taylor Ltd was established in 2018 as a lifestyle, Beauty and personal care brand that deals in Natural Organic products that cater for a range of health and beauty concerns.

From a young age, I always struggled with health and skin problems. I spent so much on dermatologists and beauty products. In 2016 I started making my own organic soaps and creams at home which eventually turned into a full time business.
